![]() Though, thinking about my usual furniture layouts, I can see why. I'm soooo ready for my new PC, and being able to actually PLAY The Sims 3! It was a gift, so I didn't get to research and choose. I guess I just assumed my PC was good enough because the processor is up to minimum speed for TS3 as far as I can tell and the RAM is 6GB (well over the necessary amount, and quite fantastic for its time as far as I can tell). It wasn't even supposed to play much of The Sims 2 either. Even though I only got this PC five years ago, it has an integrated card that wasn't supposed to run The Sims 3 at all. ![]() That was when I determined my game unplayable. I was like "Whattttttt?" You mean that the camera can move anywhere near that smoothly? You mean that when zooming into a lot the white blotches of objects are supposed to be loaded in mere seconds if not much quicker? You mean that Sims are not blurry blotches for a minute or so before they load? etc., etc. But the game the LPer was running and complaining about lag from was like a completely different experience from mine. An LP of Island Paradise of all things, the world that everyone says lags so much. ![]() Especially with how much so many members of the Sims community constantly put it down for running so horribly, and complaining about lags themselves.īut then last week I stumbled upon an LP. Just over so many years of playing The Sims 3 I came to somehow think that the lagging was just about standard for the game. but I've never puked up that many colors without wanting to kill whomever let me ingest that many.ĭamn man, if it's as bad as I imagine then you're a hell of a lot patient than I am. I've drank some wild drinks going through my teens and twenties. I've had to 'trap' my sim's son's imaginary friend a few times because he would pelt the child until he was almost constantly going through retching rainbows. but the last thing I would want to go to any club looking like is a giant blue smurf. I know that in Utopia the dews are supposed to be fun. that and I find it funny when you show up to a club and see all these different colored sims going throughout the place. I've been tempted many times to remove the autonomous dew throwing. An imaginary friend will literally stand there with the kid (if uninterrupted) and pelt him over and over with those dews. expect to see your child a different color every time he crosses your screen. My latest issue has been in Utopia (Future) where if you have a kid who is born and raised there. jpg or jpeg has been around a long time and better compressinon. I can't believe some cheap idiots are still using bmp or png these days. Once you've got the direct link from Photobucket, paste it between image tags, so it should look like - minus the spaces. jpg in your link still didn't make the picture show so I dunno what the hell happened there. jpg, however removing the extraneous code from after. png? The link you tried to post did not end in an image file, which are normally. The direct link for the picture shown in my Photobucket is this: You see where it says "share links" at the top right hand corner? The one you want is the direct link (the IMG one may sound like it's the one you want, but it tacks on a bunch of useless extra code so that if someone clicks the picture you're linking, it then opens in a separate tab and is just generally fucking annoying). You should have a screen similar to this: Quote: Originally posted by ChinchillaJesus
